week 4 afterparty
[ well, that was definitely A Trial.
however, oda understands that everyone must be feeling a little heavy, considering the death of someone like jughead and whatever bullshit dazai said earlier.
so, at everyone's door is a note that says the following:
If you don't want to be alone, come to the diner.
There's food.
oda himself is at the diner, although there's no food on his table, nor is he being a very good host of a party. he's just sitting alone at a table next to a window, staring out of it in deep thought. ]

Hehe. Sorry about that... I just unloaded stuff on you.

You're really easy to talk to, is all. Guess that's part of your, uh, charm? [as the guestbook puts it]

Well, I admit at times I've attempted to give off the more unattainable sort of charm. [Like a famous celebrity or something.] Still, that doesn't seem like it would be useful here.

[well, at least Osomatsu has found some trustworthy friends. he hopes. he's not used to being alone, anyway, which is probably why he's getting so attached to people]
...Though, sometimes, even that doesn't work. Look at Rose. Jughead probably thought he could trust Rose and Frasier. They were deceptive, and that... that's pretty scary! At least with someone like that Fire Man, we know where he stands.
haha wow this is bad actually?
They truly didn't give any hint of their intentions at all. I admit, if it wasn't for the physical evidence, I'm not sure we would have actually caught them. [Especially since they started out focused on the idea of a duo working together...] And their method was one almost anyone could have used. [Perhaps not would have, but poison is pretty easy to get and use.]
right? let's just keep twisting the knife
I just hope that, uh... this was the last of this. That people start realizing doin' what Sarge wants is not the way to go.
me, frantically rotating knife in my own chest: why does this hurt
It seems his offers have been getting weaker and weaker, at least. Perhaps next he'll be offering something like a free trip to Nimbasa, or someplace similar.

...Guess we'll find out soon enough, huh?

Indeed. And if it does turn out to be even more pathetic, we can make sure no one misunderstands it.
