There's food.

oda himself is at the diner, although there's no food on his table, nor is he being a very good host of a party. he's just sitting alone at a table next to a window, staring out of it in deep thought. ]

I did. I never would have been able to survive on the road without her training. She made sure I could survive most things... probably.

What made her decide to... train you?

She found me in the forest when I collapsed from lack of food and water, so after that, she took me in and taught me how to survive. How to wield a persuader, how to wield a knife... but also things for traveling on the road, like how to make sure you have enough supplies, and how to hunt or forage for food and secure clean water.

I'm not sure what part of it made her decide to take me in. But I guess she must have seen some reason for it when she first found me.

Well, it can be a lot of hard work sometimes. [Both nature and people are definitely liable to kill you if you aren't careful.] Even a place like this has a lot of luxuries other countries don't.

[Mr. Matsuno! That makes him chuckle a bit. it sounds so formal and he’s not used to it at all]

Well, it’s pretty big, kinda crazy. My brothers an’ I live with our parents. So there’s eight people living under one roof. It can get crowded!

That does sound like a very big family.

[With her family situation being what it is, there's no real imagining it.]

Do you all get along?

Sure, for the most part! I mean, don’t get me wrong, my parents fight, my brothers fight, I fight. We bicker a lot, but, most of the time, we have fun together. [a light sigh] I can’t imagine what they’re doing without me...
